Tony & Stew at Leith Hill 23rd September 2006

We met Tony & Stew at the jumpy play area immediately west of Leith Hill tower just off Greensand Way.

They were out practicing jumps but took time to point us in the direction of some great singletrack that was new to us.

They were both well kitted out with protective gear and were taking it easy as they said they normally ride trails in a similar way to us. We agreed that as the years catch up the ability to recover from crashes is significantly reduced, at my age I tend to hit the ground in a similar way to an old jacket being thrown onto a chair. Take it easy!
